FAQs

What is 100 for 100?

On January 29th Bermuda Institute will celebrate the 100th Day of School! For our 100 for 100 initiative we are asking 100 people (or more) to give $100 (or more).

How do I make a gift?

Here’s how to give your gift:

1. Click the maroon “Make A Gift” button in the top right hand bar
2. Select the 100 for 100 campaign to give to.

3. Grab your credit card
4. Give your gift 🙂

Is there a donation limit?

At Bermuda Institute we value any gift, regardless of size. We want you to give at a level that is meaningful to you and comfortable as well. All gifts to our school make a difference for our students. It is a fact that every gift does count and does make an impact. Gifts can range from $5.00 to $500,000 (and beyond). It’s totally up to you! Every gift is important and appreciated.

Are there other ways to give?

Absolutely! You can give:
In person (cash, card or check)
Via phone (using your credit card)
By direct transfer to our account (HSBC: 010 263689 001). Be sure to reference Your Name + 100 for 100.

Is my donation Tax-Deductible if I am a U.S. Citizen?

It sure is! As a member of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, a tax-exempt organization, Bermuda Institute is automatically a 501 (c) 3 not for profit educational institution. Therefore, any donation that is made is a fully tax deductible gift.

Do you accept Matching Grants?

ABSOLUTELY! Many companies offer to match employee donations. Consider asking your company if they will match your donation. Additionally, we would be thrilled if your company is interested in matching up to a certain value or total funds raised. For Matching Grant information, please contact Kimberlee Tankard, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 441-238-1566 or ktankard@bermudainstitute.bm

I am interested in supporting Bermuda Institute beyond 100 for 100. How can I give on a regular basis?

Our fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th. Our giving cycle runs parallel to this which means you can give year round! Please contact us for more information.

Bermuda Institute is a private school that receives tuition, shouldn't that cover everything?

We wish it could! Unfortunately it does not cover everything. All independent/private schools must fundraise for additional funds to cover costs. This is why our fundraising initiatives, like Giving Day, are so important.

Who do I contact if I have any more questions?

Please contact Kimberlee Tankard, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 441-238-1566 or ktankard@bermudainstitute.bm
